Biliary stones dissolution : 2-3 capsules a day,
treatment should last at least 4-6months or even up
to 12 or more.
Biliary dyspepsia : 1-2 capsules a day during or
after meals.
Occasionally alterations of bowel habits and slight
modification of transaminase parameters may occur.
Such episodes may regress spontaneously during the
treatment or require a reduction of dosage.
Bilenor is contraindicated in cases of obstructive
jaundice, in the hepatopathies and severe renal
disease and in patients with known hypersensitivity
to the product and also for pregnant women.
In patients
with frequent biliary colics, biliary
infections, severe pancreatic alterations or
intestinal affections capable to alter biliary
acids enterohepatic circulation(ileum resection
and ileostomy, regional ileitis, etc.) it is
advisable not to administer the preparation.
